November - Family Reunion Planning Month

What? 2017 is almost on its way out? How could that be? Where did the time go? Did I collect enough memories? My head is spinning from the sheer speed of time passing me by. O well. They say the older you get the faster time flies - but this?  Did I even put a dent in this year?

If there is one thing I've learned, it's this: History will be made with or without our contribution.  To change history for the better is perhaps one of the greatest achievements there is. Making legacy of life and granting the next generation a heritage worthy of pride and celebration.  The key to making those achievements stick is knowing how to celebrate them.  Think family history documentary, complete with family interviews, a walk down memory lane while visiting old stomping grounds, schools, and other history locals as well as genealogy research and DNA reports.

What better way to present and celebrate your family history than an annual family reunion gathering.

Your identity is in the strength and wisdom of your belief system. Reaching out to family as family reaches out to the community to improve relations, the quality of life and empower a community goes a long way to building strong family ties. November and December are the ideal months to focus on the contributions your family has made toward self-empowerment, the community, business and good spiritual health.

November is Annual Family Reunion Planning Month. That said, now is the time to start planning your next memorable family reunion. Wondering how to get started? Read about the Genealogy themed family reunion program in the ever popular family reunion planning guide Fimark's Family Reunion Planner guidebook.

Early Family Reunion Planning Strategy

They say the best laid plans do not always work out. Why? Experts say timing can be a contributor to a plans success or failure. Often because these plans require several hands on deck, getting full support is often the key to getting any idea off the ground, up and running.

So you talked to your family over dinner this past November and presented your ideas for the next family reunion. They liked what they heard and you've heard nothing more from them about it sense. Not to worry. That's typical. Likely they're both preoccupied with the everyday task of survival or they're just waiting to hear what your next move will be.

So what is the next move? Now would be the time to have a handy family reunion planning guide to lay out the course.  Why an event guide? These guides often are written based on an experienced reunion planners tried and proven event planning strategy.  A strategy that will get everyone inspired and motivated to pitch in and get the reunion event planning wheels turning full speed ahead. That said, enter Fimark's Family Reunion Planner Social web app. This app presents a step by step method of planning your reunion event and via it's ebook feature it outlines how to get all in the family involved.

Best of all you don't have to download it and install it to your device or PC. Just go to the URL and sign-in. Next follow the steps one by one and you'll have your reunion plans up and running in no time.

Web App - Invitees Interest List Solution

Some of our fellow reunion planners have wondered why the Invitees Interest list featured on Fimark's Family Reunion Social web app lists all friends and families but does not separate the families from the friends. Well there is a way to delete those you don't plan on inviting from a list of invitees. Here's the solution...

Step 1. Locate Fimark's Family Reunion Planner Social in your browsers favorites or bookmarks.

Step 2. On the interface click on the CSV button just above the Invitees Interest List and download the list to your computer.

Step 3. Open the spreadsheet and delete those who will not be attending the reunion.

Step 4. Next download the Family Reunion Planner Spreadsheet found under Documents on the Family Reunion Planner Interface.

Step 5. Import the data into the CSV file into the Family Reunion Planner Spreadsheet. Boom!

You now have a list of all family members only and you can maintain and update a record of attendees, fees, t-shirt orders, tally event options survey results along with those interesting demographic details all from your event planning spreadsheet. I love it. Hope you do to.

Now save $10 when you purchase Fimark's Family Reunion Social Web App. Was $49. Now $39.

Annual Family Reunion Planning Month Is On

Annual Family Reunion Planning Month is being observed by an ever growing diverse group of family reunion enthusiasts, genealogists, culture fest and history buffs to promote awareness of family values to bring family and community closer together.

Other hold free community concerts, school talent shows featuring family groups or historic community presentations featuring town and city tours or free restaurant taste tests.

This is a great time to invite family reunion planners as well as family recipe cooking demonstrations during FRPM food fests. "Two of our favorite activities has been having a neighborhood lawn and leaf party one weekend and a food fest the next", Mark reminisces.

Mutual support in the household engenders sustainable personal, community and  economic growth as families focus on family union. The key is by promoting fun and lively activities such as genealogy presentations, creative talent shows, culture fests, tourism and community and neighborhood volunteer work all with a view to family and community empowerment.

So Precious

This weekend Brenda and I enjoyed our granddaughter for two full days and one night. This was the second time she spent the night with her grands. Her personality is blossoming. Bubbly and full of wonder.

I've yet to sing her a lullaby, blow bubbles or run around the park with her. But I can see that day will come soon, and when it does we'll be lost in wonderland. So precious will ours days be.

I only fear that she will grow up too fast on this side (the faster side) of the world in which we live. But I will do my best to show her all the wonders of nature, science and the arts. Most important will be teacher her to  deeply value, respect and dignify her relationship with others combined with the satisfaction that comes from seeing good for all her hard work.
